Thought for the day: So much to do, so little time

Why is it there are always SO MANY things due at the end of the semester rather than spreading them all out and not stressing out the students?

With only a week or so left in my first semester of graduate school, it is hard to believe I will live through this week.

It will all be worth it. I mean, it is Monday, barely noon, and I have already completed one assessment and am not blogging (apparently).

What is left to do? LOTS.

Including a TV report that will oh so fun to get done by deadline. All I can say to myself is “Happy thoughts Jordan…happy thoughts.”

Once this week is over. I will have completed my first semester of graduate school! How amazing does that sound?

Today, all the MA students from 2010 are graduating. Can you imagine…this time next year it will be me graduating with my Masters degree?

Crazy how fast time flies. I am still in shock it is already December.

As long as I live past this week…and get the three assessments that are due the day we get back from the break. I will be happy.

Then semester two begins and more stress shall happen!

I guess this is the life of a graduate student? To bad I was not warned ahead of time.

Just think of the sense of accomplishment I will have when this week is over. That is all that is getting me through.

  1. H Jordan, I am glad you think you are busy now – just wait until you get your masters and are working in the “real world” – then you will long for the casual and leisurely days of school!! Enjoy it while it lasts.

  2. Wow! I can’t believe you’re already almost done with your first semester of grad school. Time goes by so fast… by next semester at finals time, I’ll be graduating. Isn’t it weird?

How are you liking London? 🙂 Sounds like you’re having a blast!
