Thought for the day: I’m the definition of Murphy’s Law

I have come to the realisation that if I did not have bad luck, I would have no luck at all. Why, might you ask, do I believe this is the statement of my life? Because it is true. Spend a day with me and you will soon realise the amount of bad luck one little blonde person can have. Shall I give you some areas of my life where I have bad luck? I think that is a GREAT idea!

Let is start with an easy one that ALOT of people have bad luck with. Walking. I have the worst luck when it comes to walking. I trip over air. I trip over my shoes. I trip over the ants crawling on the ground. I trip at least 10 times a day. I also have a tendency to fall down…and up stairs. Pesky stairs just move on me. Along with tripping…and falling, I tend to run into things to. Doors. Poles. People. You name it, I am sure I have hit it. Maybe I am to “chatty chatty” when I walk. Maybe I should stop trying to walk and talk. To much multitasking for me? Who knows.

Boys. Ohhh the subject of boys. I have terrible luck when it comes to them! I tend to either pick the complete wrong type of guy I should, just because I always see the best in people. OR I like the guys who would be the right type for me…but they either have a girlfriend, just want to be friends, or are emotionally unavailable. Not saying all the guys I am dated were bad choices. I have managed to snag some good ones. But a majority of the guys I date..or the guys who pursue me… my goodness. 😉

I am the definition of Murphy’s Law. If anything bad can happen…it will. And it will to me. It is like Jessica Alba in the film, Good Luck Chuck. Story of my life, ladies and gentlemen. Then again, I don’t really mind it. It makes my life exciting and gives me something to blog about for all you people who read my blog. 🙂

  1. Hi Jorday – Not buying the bad luck thing at all. Your walking has more to do with watching where you are going than with luck. On boys, maybe that’s your problem – you are looking for boys when your maturity and achievement levels indicate you should be looking for young men.
The kids did well, proud of my team (including the London coaching staff)!!
