On July 17th at 18:49 p.m. Andi Kristine Weber was born.
She weighed 7 lbs 2 oz and was 19 inches long.
This beautiful bundle of joy was brought into this world by my lovely brother, Stuart, and his amazing wife, Meghan.
Luckily, for me, baby Andi waited for her Auntie to get to the hospital before coming into the world.
As of early this morning, I was on a plane from China to Japan and my sister-in-law was already submitted to the hospital and in labour.
As soon as I got permitted into Japan, I grabbed my bags and one of my brother’s friends in the Air Force picked me up and took me to the hospital.
I came in at the worst of the labour process.
My sister-in-law was in major pain because of her back, and had decided to get the epidural to relieve the horrible pain due to the baby’s spine being pushed against hers.
Can’t say I blame her, she looked like she was going to cry every few seconds.
After the epidural, Meghan’s mood had completely turned around. She was smiling and had gotten her sense of humour back, which was great to see.
Once it was time to push, my brother and I got the responsiblity of holding one of her legs each, to help the pushing process since she could not feel anything from the stomach down.
I got to witness the entire birthing process…and might I just say, it was incredible.

I know most would be grossed out at the sight of birthing a baby naturally, however, I was throughly amazing.
I can not wait to have a baby of my own and experience the process from the other point of view.
Either way. Congrats to my baby brother and his wife…and welcome to the world baby Andi.
